Web Conferencing - Microsoft Office Live Meeting

The Microsoft® Office Live Meeting services offered by the Conference Center enable you to choose the product bundle that best suits your purpose or select a meeting venue based on the number of participants in your meeting.

Service Bundles

Presenter Service is ideal for those times when a host is providing information to many conference participants.  Presenter Service provides the host with control of the meeting’s flow.  Features include:

• Online slide presentations to enhance your meeting
• Annotation tools to underline major points being made
• Whiteboarding tools enabling you to brainstorm ideas
• Text slides much like the parking lot items you create in a face-to-face meeting
• Web tours to take your audience to a particular website
• Polling features to record the opinions of meeting participants
• Application viewing to reveal any application on your desktop for viewing with participants (e.g. specialized software, electronic documents or financial spreadsheets)

Premier Service has all of the features associated with Presenter Service and the following additional features:

• Recording options to attend the meeting at your convenience
• Remote Control features to let others take charge of the meeting.  The host can regain control any time he/she wishes.

Meeting Venues

The Auditorium is a virtual auditorium that enables the host to view all of the participants as though they were seated in an actual lecture hall.  This meeting forum is best suited for web conferences with 25 or more participants.

The Meeting Place provides a virtual conference room with the look and feel of a face-to-face meeting.  This venue is suggested for collaborative group sessions of fewer than 25 participants.
